Dr. Bonanni has spent over 15 years performing refractive surgery and has personally performed over 55,000 successful eye surgery procedures. He is a Duke University fellowship-trained corneal and refractive specialist. It is important to select someone who has encountered special cases (maybe similar to yours) and has dealt with them successfully. You should also look for someone who has an in-depth knowledge of the technologies employed in today’s evolving laser vision correction field. Dr. Bonanni is one of a few surgeons in the country to be certified on all the available laser systems. Training and experience like his produce better results and fewer complications.

曼哈頓高勝近視治療中心的箴言是“細節決定成敗”，這將會在您的手術中得到充分的體現。 Dr. Bonanni會在手術前為病人的眼睛做詳細檢查，假如病人有配戴隱形眼鏡，需在驗眼前暫停配戴，軟性隱形眼鏡需暫停一個星期，而硬性則需贊停3星期。驗光過程會更詳細，包括度量屈光度數，最佳視力，角膜弧度形狀及厚度，並會以顯微鏡檢查眼鏡及眼球外部。亦會以眼藥水放大瞳孔以檢查病人的視網膜。放大瞳孔後眼鏡會輕微畏光，看進物時會變得模糊，檢查後便會回復正常。
